Appreciate !

Any relationship is based on four principles, respect, understanding, acceptance, and appreciation. Well said by Mahatma Gandhi. A very pleasant morning to all the readers.  I read this saying in the Autobiography of Mahatma Gandhi I am reading these days which led me to post a new blog. Out of the four principles he mentioned, I am here to talk about the fourth principle which is Appreciation. The rule is applicable not only in terms of relationships but also our surroundings.  You need to appreciate the little things happening in your life in order to truly "Live" a life. The frame of an image with which you look at the various happenings of your life matters a  lot. No matter how busy you are, take out a few minutes to thank the people who have truly made a difference in your life, who were always there to cheer you up, thank the situations which made you so bold today that you can swiftly move through all the hardships, and obviously thank God who has always bee...

Be The Author of Your Novel

Greetings everyone!  After a long time span, I am again back with a few thoughts to be put in black and white. I hope you are all doing good.   So, today I am not here just for the sake of posting a blog but to truly share my reviews on two novels  I read recently. Both the novels are written by Robin Sharma who is considered as one of the most broadly read writers alive today. His words truly fill me with positivity and a practical thought for life.   One of the books I read was "The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari" and I honestly suggest this novel to every person out there who is feeling some negativity around in the atmosphere. Talking about myself, I started being a little more practical in life. I stopped overthinking about the unrealistic scenarios which caused unfavoured trouble and irritation. In this novel, he mentions ten rituals to be followed to live a happy, optimistic and practical life. After completing the above novel, I grew curious about reading th...

Twelve Good Years As A Davian

Greetings everyone!  Long time no see :)  Confining my words to this, I would like to share the twelve years of my life. Have a look ... *Twelve Good Years As A DAVIAN* In class 1 ,we were tiny little tots 30 in number, planted in pretty pots Undoubtedly our school bloomed us into beautiful angelic flowers , We do miss the time when we had plenty of playing hours. The class recitations and annual functions of class 2 were always memorable for everyone, I remember, after hearing the bell for dispersal and reciting the shaanti paath the way we used to run. Then comes  the room next to the principal's office, 3rd Daisy The most noisy class, energetic, cheerful , jovial and a bit casey. Now, those tiny little tots grew up amd reached class four, We had our class on the ground floor. A bit mischievous and more obedient we grew, Eager to switch from pencils to pens, we learnt certain life values. Getting a pride pin was the honoured part of every year, I miss the independence d...

Life Lessons

Life teaches you lessons at every other point. It has always been about learning something from these lessons being taught.  Hello everyone! Today I am here to put my thoughts in black and white about life being our best teacher.  Do you know the cause behind little unusual peculiar things that happen in our life? Obviously, me neither. But I probably think such events happen because life has something there with it to teach us at every point.  If it is snowing and raining heavily in the months of May and June, then life is teaching you a lesson to stop deteriorating the nature. If you are already late and stuck in traffic, maybe life is teaching you that you to be punctual. If today, birds are flying in the blue skies and you are sitting inside your home , life is teaching you that you do get your rewards for your deeds so stop caging these innocent birds and set them free.  Talking about myself, a few days back I too learnt a lesson. It was my Nana ji's birthday, w...

Maa - A Gift from Heaven

'Maa'  - A word filled with emotions, love, care, affection and infinite pretty beautiful moments. Each and every moment spent with her is always treasured in my heart and is precious. Whenever I am in a burdensome situation, I know I will always have a support system I can look up to - My Family.  No matter how challenging the situations were, my mother has always faced every challenge of her life with a beautiful smile on her face. She is the one who converts a dull house into a lovely happy home, she is the one who looks after everyone's needs, she is the one who is always there to cheer me up during my hardships which simply proves that she is the heartbeat of our home. Undoubtebly, I've never got a friend like her who is my stress buster, smile keeper and my mood healer.  It leaves a smile on my face when I have a glimpse at the times back when I was in class 1 and  never remained quiet while returning from school. I would tell her each and every bit of whatever...

Everything is Fugacious!

A warm welcome to all my dear readers! After an interval of  few days, here I am writing this blog. Well, in the past few days I was so engrossed with my own thoughts and work which makes an obvious reason that I could not post my blogs. Today what made me write this blog is a simple question that strikes my mind every single day and that is, what actually remains everlastingly on this earth? What?  And a very simple answer to this question is - Nothing. No person, no place, no object , nothing remains the same way for eternity.  After all, the earth is known for changes and variations it causes. I read this quote somewhere which said - "Forever is a lie, all we have is between hello and goodbye." and sometimes we do not even get the time for waving a goodbye which is the most disheartening thing ever. I guess all these years of our lives that we spend teach us a lot. Obviously, no one thinks of living forever because we cannot just escape this ultimate reality of l...

Surroundings!

Greetings everyone! Today I  am here with a thought of "Surroundings". Every single thing around you can be your teacher if you allow yourself to be an obedient student. You know our perceptions are  influenced by our surroundings. It  does matter, whether it be people or the things that surround you. There's so much that we can learn from the things and the people existing around us.  Right now I am sitting in a room where I have so many things around me from which I can surely acquire something. There's a pen kept on the table which teaches me that once I commit a mistake while writing, that would be unalterable and that I have to be heedful while writing. Next, I am gaping at the stack of white empty sheets kept on the right side of my pen which teaches me that once if the story written on single sheet goes wrong, I can surely turn the page and start writing a new story by waving a goodbye to the thing which has already happened. Now, I have my water bottle in my ...
