Ray of Dawn!

Greetings everyone! Hope you are in pink of your health and taking good care of yourselves in this pandemic. Today I thought of posting my poetry which is based on "YOUr Own Potential" . I just highlighted the word "You" for a purpose. So here I represent my poetry-

You are your own warrior as you have to fight your own wars,
You are your own carrier as you have to carry your own thoughts.
As you cannot win a war without losing anything,
Similarly, you cannot keep your mind and body together without suffering something.

You are your own decision maker as you know what is better for you and what is not,
You are your own amulet and that’s the only precious thing you have got.
When you suffer you survive,
You alone face your challenges, and hence you get to know more about life.

You are your own believer as there is no one else who’d be there forever, I thought.
Don’t forget, you are the beautiful blooming flower of the bunch planted in that pot.
Suffering is all about subjugating your challenges boldly,
No matter how spine-chilling they turn to be.

“You are the savior of your own life”, this is what you are taught,
You and only you will have to face those challenges, remember this and tie a knot.
All of us experience these obstacles at some or the other point in our life,
But it’s your own potential that how you face them and ultimately survive.

Meeting these challenges is an omen that you are strong,
Trust me dear, nothing is permanent, these difficulties won’t last long.
And let me tell you that reward of suffering is experience,
Everyone on this land suffers, including the Homo sapiens.

In the middle of every difficulty lies an opportunity,
But it’s your will and effort that plays its sanctity.
In spite of all your sufferings, life just goes on,
Wake up, shine and be the first ray of the dawn.
