Be The Author of Your Novel
Greetings everyone!
After a long time span, I am again back with a few thoughts to be put in black and white. I hope you are all doing good.
So, today I am not here just for the sake of posting a blog but to truly share my reviews on two novels I read recently. Both the novels are written by Robin Sharma who is considered as one of the most broadly read writers alive today. His words truly fill me with positivity and a practical thought for life.
One of the books I read was "The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari" and I honestly suggest this novel to every person out there who is feeling some negativity around in the atmosphere. Talking about myself, I started being a little more practical in life. I stopped overthinking about the unrealistic scenarios which caused unfavoured trouble and irritation. In this novel, he mentions ten rituals to be followed to live a happy, optimistic and practical life.
After completing the above novel, I grew curious about reading the thoughts of Mr. Robin Sharma and so I bought another one " Who Will Cry When You Die?" In this novel, he mentions 101 good and simple solutions to live through the most complex situations of life. In his last chapter of the novel, he mentions a thought which I totally agree with - " We have taller buildings but shorter tempers, more possessions but less happiness, fuller minds but emptier lives."
Remember, if your priorities don't get scheduled into your planner, other people's priorities will get put in your planner. We should know this art of prioritizing our work for ourselves and not for others.
So, these were the two self-help books I loved reading, mention your current reading in the comments.
While concluding this blog, I would quote a saying by Ancient Sanskrit Writers-
When you were born, you cried while the world rejoiced.
Live your life in such a way that when you die, the world cries while you rejoice.
Thank you :)
