Life - A Tear and A Smile

 Bonjour!

Long time no see people ! I hope you all are doing good. Being extremely apologetic for not showing up since long, here I am after a long long time putting my thoughts in black and white.
I read something about life with which I completely agree and would like to address the same in today's blog.

Life remain a tear and smile.
A tear to unite me with those of broken heart;
A smile to be a sign of my joy in existence.

I feel life has always been about these tears and smiles. It's all about the parting and meeting of the people, things and incidents which are ultimately temporary. This is the unrelenting cycle that goes round the clock which makes us all going. Tears are most often set side by side with grief and melancholy. Tears according to me are just a source of expressing your thoughts and emotions whether it be sorrow or ecstasy. Extreme glee and joviality also brings tears of happiness to one's eye. Those 'Khushi ke Aansu' dropped by our mothers while we leave our homes while she watches us all flourishing in our lives are no where near low spirits. So, tears are not and should not only be analogous to wretchedness. They are just those emotions flowing out of us during those back breaking situations faced by each one of us.

The next sign of existence mentioned in the quote was Smile. According to Wikipedia, smile is an expression on your face showing happiness. For us, in general, smile is a strong symbol of being blissed out and cheerful despite of those hardships travelling along in this beautiful drive of life. We do not need a reason to smile. Passing a smile to an unknown face in the crowd will make the other person feel better too. That person might be dealing with a lot in his life but that smiling face of yours leaves its traces for sure. Smiling is a free therapy as it brings peace and calmness along. A happy smiling face brings lot more positivity. For me, it is an initiating step for a bond to build up as it is a language that aids us in knowing a person. So, next time you smile at an anomalous face, just know that you made someone feel better today.

And life remain a tear and a smile or I'd say it is all 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gum' feels.
So, keep that smile on your face, it adds on to the beauty you are carrying!
Take care folks :)

  3. Abha dear, it is a well written blog reminding me of Shakespeare who said, "The web of our life is of a mingled yarn, good and ill together: our virtues would be proud,if our faults whipped them not; and our crimes would despair, if they were not cherished by our virtues." Nobody would ever know the value of smile if tears are not there.
    Love tears as much as you love smiles.
    Keep it up!!!
