Life - A Tear and A Smile

Bonjour! Long time no see people ! I hope you all are doing good. Being extremely apologetic for not showing up since long, here I am after a long long time putting my thoughts in black and white. I read something about life with which I completely agree and would like to address the same in today's blog. Life remain a tear and smile.  A tear to unite me with those of broken heart; A smile to be a sign of my joy in existence. I feel life has always been about these tears and smiles. It's all about the parting and meeting of the people, things and incidents which are ultimately temporary. This is the unrelenting cycle that goes round the clock which makes us all going. Tears are most often set side by side with grief and melancholy. Tears according to me are just a source of expressing your thoughts and emotions whether it be sorrow or ecstasy. Extreme glee and joviality also brings tears of happiness to one's eye. Those 'Khushi ke Aansu' dropped by our mothers whil...

Anxiety, anxiety go away!

Results, interviews, viva, questions, exams, stage performances and out of the common news you hear have one thing in common for a few people out there and that is ...? Any guesses? Good morning Readers! Hope you all are doing well. Let's begin with that 'common thing' among them - It is the fear of facing such situations - Anxiety. Yes, today I am here to talk about this feeling (and not a disorder) some of us or maybe many of us might be facing and yet feel introverted to speak loud about it.  Increased heartbeat, taking deep breaths, hyperventilation, eyes all swollen up, unable to speak, fumbling, restlessness, nervousness before any of the events mentioned above is what we face while we say - "I have anxiety". The fear of participating in the event is more frightening than actually being in the event. Isn't it? So, talking to your peer groups on this topic may be bittersweet. Bittersweet as in it might even lend a helping hand to you or it may worsen up ...

A Thing To Think About !

Greetings and felicitations people ! A day before, I heard a podcast of a renowned speaker which just lead me to write this blog. Before just jumping on to the topic directly, I would like you people to guess it out.  So, there's this one thing we all have within us which is our selfless thinking towards us. We people are always in a competition with today's world. Suppose, if a cobbler is there polishing your shoes, we consider him of a standard lower than us as in we are paying for it and we consider ourselves the owners or I would say we consider ourselves superior to him. But, there is surely one or the other thing in terms of which that cobbler is higher than us. It may be in terms of hard work or it may be in terms of knowing the people in the surrounding well or in terms of anything. So that one thing can be the reason to compete .  The topic I am talking about is "Inferiority Complex". We all have faced this at some or the other point in our lives. So common t...

Short Note on Evenings :)

Every sunset reminds me that beautiful journeys do have a beautiful ending.  Good evening people !  Today  I thought of greeting you all with an "Evening" owing to the thoughts I'll be putting down in black and white. For me, evenings and sunsets have been special since always. I just have that urge of stepping out of the door as soon as the day ends and reach the top just to see the sunset, the beautiful tinted sky, to feel the soft breeze on my face, to hear the sounds of silence around me and to express my emotions by just gazing at the beautiful scenic frame. Evenings have been a companion to the humanity since past ages.  The splendid scenes from the window fill me with a lot more positivity and motivation making it a reason that I consider these evenings as a therapy.  These hours are probably the time we actually take out for ourselves. We think, we examine, we understand the various incidents of the day and realize how wonderful the day was or the ...

Appreciate !

Any relationship is based on four principles, respect, understanding, acceptance, and appreciation. Well said by Mahatma Gandhi. A very pleasant morning to all the readers.  I read this saying in the Autobiography of Mahatma Gandhi I am reading these days which led me to post a new blog. Out of the four principles he mentioned, I am here to talk about the fourth principle which is Appreciation. The rule is applicable not only in terms of relationships but also our surroundings.  You need to appreciate the little things happening in your life in order to truly "Live" a life. The frame of an image with which you look at the various happenings of your life matters a  lot. No matter how busy you are, take out a few minutes to thank the people who have truly made a difference in your life, who were always there to cheer you up, thank the situations which made you so bold today that you can swiftly move through all the hardships, and obviously thank God who has always bee...

Be The Author of Your Novel

Greetings everyone!  After a long time span, I am again back with a few thoughts to be put in black and white. I hope you are all doing good.   So, today I am not here just for the sake of posting a blog but to truly share my reviews on two novels  I read recently. Both the novels are written by Robin Sharma who is considered as one of the most broadly read writers alive today. His words truly fill me with positivity and a practical thought for life.   One of the books I read was "The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari" and I honestly suggest this novel to every person out there who is feeling some negativity around in the atmosphere. Talking about myself, I started being a little more practical in life. I stopped overthinking about the unrealistic scenarios which caused unfavoured trouble and irritation. In this novel, he mentions ten rituals to be followed to live a happy, optimistic and practical life. After completing the above novel, I grew curious about reading th...

Twelve Good Years As A Davian

Greetings everyone!  Long time no see :)  Confining my words to this, I would like to share the twelve years of my life. Have a look ... *Twelve Good Years As A DAVIAN* In class 1 ,we were tiny little tots 30 in number, planted in pretty pots Undoubtedly our school bloomed us into beautiful angelic flowers , We do miss the time when we had plenty of playing hours. The class recitations and annual functions of class 2 were always memorable for everyone, I remember, after hearing the bell for dispersal and reciting the shaanti paath the way we used to run. Then comes  the room next to the principal's office, 3rd Daisy The most noisy class, energetic, cheerful , jovial and a bit casey. Now, those tiny little tots grew up amd reached class four, We had our class on the ground floor. A bit mischievous and more obedient we grew, Eager to switch from pencils to pens, we learnt certain life values. Getting a pride pin was the honoured part of every year, I miss the independence d...
